Share Discovery Village

Established in 1981, the largest activity centre in Ireland, welcomes over 10,000 visitors annually. Share works for the inclusion of disabled and non disabled people by providing opportunities for all to participate in a wide range of educational, recreational outdoor pursuits and creative arts programmes.

Share is the perfect environment for outdoor activities. Our lakeshore venue is ideal for watersports and the purpose built site provides easy access to all onshore activities. All Services and activities are available on both a residential and daily basis.

Share has a proven pedigree in running outdoor activities. The Centre is a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Recognised Teaching Establishment.

All equipment and instruction is provided for activities, which include dinghy sailing, canoeing, archery, banana skiing, indoor and outdoor climbing wall, pedal go-karting, kayaking, windsurfing, orienteering and a wide range of creative arts, for example, pottery, modroc sculpture and T-shirt painting based in the Arts Centre.

RESIDENTIAL:
Our accommodation sleeps up to 220 people arranged in cosy Chalets or the Modern style ‘Farmhouse’. Over 80 % of our accommodation is en-suite. This make us the perfect location for a residential for a wide range of groups.

DAY GROUPS
Day groups are also welcomed and can pre-book an activity programme to take part in any of the activities the Centre offers.

SUMMER EXTRAVAGANZA
Holidaymakers staying in the local area can partake a programme of Outdoor and Art Activities. Ideal for Families. Special Offer Combos available – check website for regular updates. Available Easter, July and August.
